Data Subject Rights
This page explains the privacy rights Nupta users may exercise over their personal data and how requests should be handled.
1. Rights you may have
Depending on your location and the data involved, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, consent withdrawal, or information about how your personal data is processed.
Some rights may be limited by identity verification, legal retention duties, security needs, dispute handling, financial recordkeeping, or another lawful exception.
2. How to submit a request
Email support@nupta.rw with the request type, account email or phone number, and enough context for us to locate the data. Do not send sensitive documents unless requested through a secure channel.
Nupta verifies identity before disclosing, exporting, correcting, or deleting personal data.
3. Response timeline
Nupta acknowledges requests promptly and responds within 30 days where Rwanda DPP Law or similar GDPR-style timelines apply. Some jurisdictions may allow a longer period, such as 45 days, for certain consumer privacy requests.
4. Deletion and account closure
Deletion requests should remove or anonymise account data where legally possible. Some records may be retained for payment reconciliation, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security logs, backups, or legal compliance.
Vendor storefronts, reviews, messages, public wedding pages, and guest content may require additional review to protect other users' rights and contractual records.
5. Complaints
If you believe your request was not handled properly, contact support@nupta.rw. Rwanda users may also contact the Data Protection and Privacy Office where appropriate.
